| I have the ka-t engine in the Z already ,but I am running into a problem. My throttle body pulley hits the hood . The hood latches but doesn't lock . I need a hood with more clearance so it will shut . I am not a fan of hood scoops or the washer trick to raise the hood . I was thinking of a aftermarket hood with more clearance or cutting the hood where it hits and molding a hump or bulge in the hood . I can not lower the engine as the oil pan is close to the steering rack .
